Jay Neel founded Big Valley Music & Media with a vision to celebrate and sustain the rich musical heritage of the Appalachian region. His lifelong passion for mountain music and community building laid the foundation for everything the organization stands for today.
Troy Underwood leads the day-to-day operations of Big Valley Music & Media, overseeing programs in music education, recording, live performance, and cultural preservation. His leadership has been instrumental in expanding the organization's reach across the region.
